My boarding of a plane
Recently, I underwent a journey by plane from Bangladesh to England. It was my first journey by plane. Having summer vacation I got an opportunity to meet my aunt living in England. It was a full family trip. Our flight was booked a week before the journey. On the day of the trip, we motored from home to Shaha-Jalal International Airport Dhaka. My dad brought forms for all of us to fill in before going through the immigration. In the form we had to fill our name, sex, date of birth, nationality, passport number, date of expire of the passport, flight number, date of departure, visa number, date of expire of the visa, type of visa, purpose of visit. Then we reported ourselves at the immigration counter inside the terminal building of the airport. There we showed our departure cards, passports and tickets. A card with the plan of the seats was given to us. Our seat numbers were marked there. We had a suitcase with us. It was taken from us. It would be kept in the luggage cabin of the plane. A number slip was tied to the suitcase. Another number slip was given to us. We would take delivery of the suitcase at our destination on producing that slip. After this we went to the security enclosure. Our bodies were searched by the men on duty there. My father’s briefcase was searched. After the searching, nobody was allowed to go out of the enclosure. After a few minutes the time for our getting on the plane was announced. We now went to the plane. An air hostess greeted us. That's how my boarding of the plane ended.
